Terms of Service

Last Updated: May 29, 2026

Welcome to Crown Ceramic Coating. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website, contact forms, service request submissions, and detailing and ceramic coating services. By accessing our website or engaging our services in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Questions? Contact us at contact@crownceramiccoating.com or (940) 217-8680 before booking if any term is unclear.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Crown Ceramic Coating ("Crown," "we," "us," or "our") website and the services we provide, including ceramic coating, paint correction, detailing, paint protection film, and related vehicle services. By booking a service, submitting a request, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By scheduling an appointment, signing a service agreement, or authorizing work, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, are the owner of the vehicle (or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf), and accept these Terms in full.

2. Services We Provide

Crown offers professional automotive appearance and protection services, which may include:

  • Ceramic Coatings: certified coatings (including 9H and graphene options) that bond to your paint for long-term gloss and protection.
  • Paint Correction & Polishing: multi-stage correction to reduce swirls, scratches, and oxidation prior to coating.
  • Interior & Detailing: deep cleaning, protection, and refreshing of cabin surfaces.
  • Paint Protection Film (PPF): protective film applied to high-impact areas where offered.
  • Wheel, Tire & Glass Coatings and related add-ons.
  • Maintenance & Coating Check-ups: decontamination washes and inspections to keep coatings performing.

The specific services, package, and inclusions for your vehicle will be set out in your written quote and/or service agreement.

3. Quotes, Estimates & Pricing

Prices shown online and in initial estimates are starting points. Final pricing depends on your vehicle's size, paint condition, and the scope of work, which we confirm after an in-person inspection. We will not perform work beyond an approved quote without your authorization. Quotes are valid for the period stated; pricing may change after expiration or if the vehicle's condition differs materially from what was described.

4. Booking, Deposits, Cancellations & Hours

  • Business hours: Monday–Saturday, 6:00 AM–7:00 PM CST. Closed Sundays and on posted holidays.
  • Scheduling: we generally complete one vehicle per day to ensure proper preparation and curing. Your appointment reserves that day for your vehicle.
  • Deposits: a deposit may be required to reserve your appointment and is applied to your final balance.
  • Cancellations & rescheduling: please give as much notice as possible. Cancellations or reschedules made with insufficient notice, and no-shows, may forfeit a deposit or incur a fee as stated in your service agreement.
  • Late drop-off: arriving significantly late may require rescheduling, as coating work is time- and temperature-sensitive.

5. Vehicle Drop-Off, Custody & Condition

You are responsible for removing all personal belongings before drop-off; we are not liable for items left in the vehicle. Please disclose any pre-existing damage, mechanical issues, aftermarket finishes, wraps, prior coatings, or repainted panels, as these can affect results and may not be covered by warranty. Coatings require curing time, so your vehicle may need to remain with us for the full scheduled period.

6. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept the payment methods stated at the time of service; card payments are processed securely through Stripe and may include a processing fee where disclosed. Invoices paid through your client portal are automatically marked paid in our system, and a receipt is emailed to you. Past-due balances may delay vehicle release and accrue fees as permitted by law.

7. Service Warranty & Coating Guarantees

Crown stands behind our workmanship. Coating warranties are tied to the specific product and package you select and are described in your written service agreement. Typical coverage ranges from approximately two (2) years for entry coatings to five (5) years or more for 9H and premium/graphene systems, subject to the conditions below.

  • The exact warranty term, scope, and any registration requirements are stated in your service agreement at the time of service and control over any general statements on our website.
  • Warranties cover the coating's performance (such as gloss retention and hydrophobic protection) and our application workmanship — not the vehicle's underlying paint, clear coat, or substrate.
  • Warranty coverage is valid only when you follow the recommended maintenance and aftercare instructions provided at delivery.
  • Warranty claims require returning the vehicle to our facility for inspection. Approved remedies are limited to re-treating or correcting the affected area.

8. Warranty Exclusions & Limitations

Warranties do not cover damage or degradation caused by:

  • Improper washing, automatic/brush car washes, or harsh chemicals;
  • Failure to follow provided aftercare instructions or to perform recommended maintenance;
  • Accidents, collisions, vandalism, theft, or road debris (rock chips, etc.);
  • Environmental fallout such as bird droppings, tree sap, hard-water spots, acid rain, or industrial fallout left untreated;
  • Pre-existing paint defects, prior repaints, wraps, or coatings not disclosed before service;
  • Normal wear, abuse, neglect, or modifications made after service.

9. Client Responsibilities & Aftercare

To keep your finish — and warranty — in good standing, you agree to follow the aftercare instructions we provide, including any initial curing period, recommended wash methods, and periodic maintenance. Failure to follow aftercare may void warranty coverage.

10. Disclaimers

Services are provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law. While we strive for exceptional results, outcomes depend on the vehicle's existing condition. Paint correction reduces, but cannot always fully remove, deep scratches or defects, and some imperfections may remain after a single stage. We make no guarantee that coatings render paint scratch-proof or damage-proof; coatings reduce, not eliminate, the risk of certain damage.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crown's total liability arising out of or relating to the services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service at issue. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of use, diminished value, or damage arising from pre-existing conditions or undisclosed defects.

12. Photography & Marketing

We may photograph or video vehicles before, during, and after service for quality records and marketing (e.g., our website and social media). We do not publish license plates or personally identifying information. If you prefer your vehicle not be used in marketing, let us know in writing before service and we will honor your request.

13. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, logos, and materials are owned by Crown Ceramic Coating and may not be copied or used without permission.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Crown and its team from claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your misrepresentation of vehicle condition or ownership, or your misuse of the vehicle or finish after service.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before pursuing formal action, you agree to first contact us so we can try to resolve the matter informally. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the Dallas–Fort Worth area of Texas, and you consent to that venue and jurisdiction.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of our website or services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
